Appetite Restaurant Festival 2011
Thanks to Mhel @ CertifiedFoodies, I received an invite to the launch of Appetite Magazine’s Restaurant Festival at Shangri-La Plaza.
I went to Shang a bit late but I was still ahead of the time specified and upon registration, we were given a passport. The passport contains the list of restaurants and you will get a stamp for that specific restaurant if you try out their menu. However, before we can start eating, there was a brief program that gave us more information about the event.
So what was this all about?
Appetite Magazine, together with Shangri-La Plaza (who provides the venue) and MasterCard (who provides the easy way to pay) are giving us a chance to savor different cuisines from all around the world. There would be thirteen (13) restaurants that will be joining this event. These are Cafe Provencal, Claw Daddy, Cravings, Crustasia, Cyma, C2, Green Tomato, Lemongrass, Pages Deli, Pepper Lunch, Pho Hoa, Secret Recipe and Sing Hainanese Chicken. Each of these restaurants have prepared their special Appetite menu where you can have a complete meal and you don’t have to spend more than PHP 1000 for that meal.
Aside from that, you can get free treats from C2, Claw Daddy, Green Tomato, Lemongrass, Pages Deli, Pho Hoa and Secret Recipe when you present a coupon from the November issue of the magazine and if you avail of the Appetite menu. MasterCard users would also get free parking if they spend more than a thousand pesos from these restaurants.
This event would start from October 14 to November 30, 2011. So what are you waiting for? Try them out as I really enjoyed tasting the menu that they have posted.
