BeachBody Insanity – Day 15

BeachBody Insanity – Day 15

Insanity Program by Beach Body

A few minutes ago, I just finished the “Fit Test” which was the only activity for today. It was only around 25 minutes long but I felt so tired that I wasn’t able to get up to do the cool down exercises. However, looking at my results, I can say that I have improved (a lot in some but just a few in the others).

Day 1 Fit Test

  1. Switch Kicks = 52
  2. Power Jacks = 46
  3. Power Knees = 54
  4. Power Jumps = 28
  5. Globe Jumps = 9
  6. Suicide Jumps = 12
  7. Push-up Jacks = 18
  8. Low Plank Oblique = 21

Day 15 Fit Test

  1. Switch Kicks = 94
  2. Power Jacks = 50
  3. Power Knees = 92
  4. Power Jumps = 29
  5. Globe Jumps = 10
  6. Suicide Jumps = 14
  7. Push-up Jacks = 22
  8. Low Plank Oblique = 28

Big improvements at the start of the tests where I still had lots of energy but going further, my thoughts changed from “doing as many as I can” to “must beat previous score even by just 1“. I don’t know why but this is much more tiring that the other exercises. Before, I thought that the pure cardio (15 minutes of nonstop moves, but you can stop anytime) was the hardest but I’m much more tired now. I even planned to do some weight lifting today since it was just short but let’s have it tomorrow instead.

Later, I’m going to do some checks again and hopefully, I’ll see some improvements in my body fat percentage after a disappointing result last week where I actually even gained more bodyfat =( No to eating siomai before taking a test (maybe that made me fatter?)

Wish me luck and more power to insanity! I’m 1/4 done from the program and still far from my goal of abs lol.

Till next time,

  1. I have been doing Insanity for months now, probably since about October. I started by doing it 5 days a week and did the first month’s exercises at least twice over. Last month, I took the leap to the second month. The first time I did it, I was knocked back by how much more difficult it was. But once again, after a month of doing it (although went from 5 days a week to 4, and sometimes 3 with difference exercises on the other days) it has become much easier, well, relatively! It’s a fantastic workout, and while I haven’t really lost any weight overall, which was my goal, I have become so much stronger. Still really enjoy it.
