Did you know that the use of social bookmarking sites can increase traffic to your blog? Also, did you know that participating in forums that have adsense profit sharing can increase your adsense earnings?

Lastly, did you know that there’s a new site in town that combined the use of social bookmarking sites and adsense profit sharing in one? Let me share with you this new site called, Blogsvine.

Blogsvine is basically a social bookmarking site. Users can register for an account then start submitting their posts instantly. Submitting your blog posts has only three steps.

  1. You need to provide the url or blog address of the blog post.
  2. You need to provide some information about that blog post (keywords, description, trackback url)
  3. Confirm, submit and voila… your post is there…

Free Backlinks!

I just checked the links and they are do-follow. So in other words, every post you submit here would mean an additional backlink to your blog. I’m navigating the site to see if it has an option to “bury” posts just like in Digg. This feature can be useful in removing the blog posts by spammers who want to abuse the system. However, this can also be used by groups of people to retain their spot in the website (examples: digg power users)

Earning via adsense

Based on the FAQ, users get about 65% of the adsense income generated from their submitted posts. I looked for the adsense ad in the submitted post and I found only 1. It’s a banner size ad which is at the bottom of the page (below the comments). I wonder how this will fare in clicks since it’s at the bottom. I would suggest that it will be placed above the comments instead.

Some bugs/needs improvement stuff that I’ve noticed

  • Spellcheck does not work - I clicked on spell check and it gave out an error.
  • Tags have a limit of forty (40) characters - That’s only about two to three tags.

Conclusion

Blogsvine adds a new feature to social bookmarking. Aside from getting free backlinks and traffic to your blog, it enables you to earn via adsense in it’s adsense revenue sharing feature. So if you want to get all these features in just one website, head over to Blogsvine.com and start submitting your posts.

Do note that this site is relatively new so it still needs some fixing and ironing on the bugs. I hope what I’ve written here can help the site improve or even just take it into consideration.
