Hi! I'm Allen and I welcome you to my blog. I blog mainly about my blogging experiences where I get to learn how to earn money online through blogging and have fun doing so. To learn more about my blog, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. If you have some questions, feel free to ask me by using my contact form. Thank and have a nice day.
There are a lot of bloggers who think that page rank is really important to their blog. It is only important if you are trying to sell links on your blog. Also, selling links is not a long term solution to your blog because once Google detects you doing so, BOOM! Page Rank = 0 and usually advertisers won’t buy links at your blog because your PR is 0. So instead of concentrating on your page rank, I suggest that you concentrate on adsense instead.
Sponsored posts are an easy way to earn money online
Sponsored posts are simply posts that you write that has a link to an advertiser and they pay you for that link. Before you write that post, there is already an agreed amount that they will pay you. It’s one easy way to earn on your blog and the higher your page rank, the amount that advertisers will pay you also goes higher. So if you keep on trying to raise your page rank, you will have more opportunities and you will earn more with your posts. You should do this while it last because…. there is a big drawback to this and that drawback is Google itself.
I don’t know if you have noticed but this blog’s page rank is 0. It used to be 3 but since I engaged in sponsored posts, it became 0. That’s right, if Google detects that you are selling your links, your page rank will instantly become 0. The direct effect of this drop is your opportunities to earn via sponsored posts. Advertisers won’t buy links from a PR 0 blog. So what are you going to do now? You have just lost your page rank and your opportunities? Where are you going to look for blog income now?
Adsense to the rescue
Adsense are just simple ads you place on your blog that gives you cash when somebody clicks on them (don’t you dare click your own ads or your Adsense account goes BOOM!). All you have to do is to keep on blogging and hope that visitors click on your ads.
Of course, there are things you can do aside from hoping and that is by learning to blog on what people want and needs. This is another topic that I would like to discuss in future posts so I’ll just leave you with this picture of how I started to increase my Adsense income monthly since the start of the year…
So if you want to know my secrets, just subscribe to this blog’s feed and learn from my blogging experiences. See you again on my future posts. ![]()

1i don’t have that much success with adsense unlike the sponsored post thing, even with all my blogs combined. for now, i’m not doing keyword sniping, which i believe, is what triggers those clicks. But i’ll be there one day.

2for me the overall stability of a blog will come from sponsorships themselves. but that before sponsors come in, one would have gain huge influence first. pagerank and adsense each have their own advantages, but it’s easy to be overthrown by competition. one thing’s for sure though, to make money online involves tons of hard work.. and alot of patience.

4I have heard about them doing this to a lot of bloggers. I stopped doing sponsored post but continue to write in my blog as often as I can. I did notice that most people are more likely to click on ads that are about writing instead of the ones about blogging. Good luck to you and happy blogging.

6Have you ever earned more than $100 a month with adsense? If not, then maybe you need to add a few more ad networks, like Textlinkads and Amazon. Even better if you can contact individual advertisers and get them to pay you monthly or quarterly, even if it is only $5 or $10 per month from each advertiser.

7@Cebloggers - I’ve been doing less sponsored posts lately because I’ve been busy with real life. I’m glad adsense brings passive income.

8@Paolo - I agree with sponsorships since they bring a constant income but it takes a lot of time for a blog to be worthy enough in the eyes of the sponsors.

10@Gaje - Yes, I agree that people won’t click ads about blogging because those who clicks ads are those who have no idea that it will be making the blogger money. If you are reading stuffs on blogging, you know about those ads and you will not click it.

12@Ling - Nope, not yet. But I know that I’m on the right track. As of now, I earn more than $100 a month but it combines adsense with sponsored posts. Although lately, I’ve been having a hard time giving time for blogging as my real life is taking a lot from me.

14Wow you’ve earned a lot from adsense. It’s still very hard for me to believe even though there are really a lot of probloggers like you who generate income sometimes even more than the average salaryman.
I’ve also heard about sponsored blogs’ PRs becoming 0. I decided not to apply to smorty and the like after. I’m sticking to adsense as far as I can handle it

15@Dexter - Wow ang galing! I’m envious! My goal for now is to reach $100 a month on this blog. I still don’t have other established blogs that can be used for adsense… hehe

16@Beena - Dexter does.
I”m still earning small from adsense. It’s still a long way to go before I can reach the salary of an average 8-5 worker.
Btw, on blogs that do sponsored posts and getting a PR of 0, you are looking at one example of a blog that did that. ^_^

17If you have a lot of traffic coming from search engines you should do fairly well with Adsense. Thats where most of my clicks come from.
That said I recently came across a paid post type program that offers publishers to sell nofollow links. Assuming thats in part from the google slapdown on page rank and paid posting/links. Not sure how many advertisers though they have compared to their dofollow advertisers.
