Experienced the 2nd Pyromusical Competition

A Sample…

A teaser…

A display…

A taste…

A spectacle…

Last night, I witnessed my first ever Pyromusical competition. I have not experienced even just the normal pyro olympics (where there was no need to synchronize with music) before so this was a great treat.

It was a sight to behold as I was really amazed at the firework display that was shown to us by China and France. I’m glad that I am not one of the judges because it would be hard to judge them especially when I lost my sense of judgment because I was simply in awe of what I saw. I could just open my mouth, whisper silent WOWs!!!, and continue to hold on to my camera.

At first, I planned to take pictures (when China’s turn started) but I realized that a video is much better so I pressed the record button of my camera and the rest was caught on video. Both countries took around 18 minutes to present and my arm was sore in holding the camera but it was worth it. I can relive the experience anytime I want (although nothing beats the experience of being there).

As of now, I’m still amazed and the feeling has not faded yet. In a way, I’m speechless that I don’t know what to write anymore here lol. One thing for sure is that; such beautiful scenes are not that enjoyable to watch alone but should be with others (friends, family, special someone etc..).

2nd International Pyromusical Competition Schedule

  • February 12, 2011 – South Korea & Spain
  • February 19, 2011 – Portugal & U.K.
  • February 26, 2011 – China & France
  • March 5, 2011 – Japan & Canada
  • March 12, 2011 – Australia & Philippines

Ticket Prices

  • Patron –  P1,500
  • VIP – P500
  • GOLD – P200
  • SILVER – P100

and you can buy them at SM cinemas (booth inside the cinema and not the two booths outside), Ticketnet and Ticketworld. You can simply go to SM Mall of Asia on the day itself and buy your tickets. I thought it was going to be jam packed where tickets run out but I was wrong. I would also recommend that you buy the VIP tickets not only for getting good seats (not as good as the Patron) but for the sake of getting chairs because the show is nearly 3 hours long (if you count the waiting and other fillers they insert before the fireworks display).

Till next time,

Allen
