Fibr: Home’s Most Powerful Broadband

Fibr: Home’s Most Powerful Broadband

Let me start this post with an embedded Youtube Video to tell you more about PLDT Fiber-Optic Internet Connection.

Currently, most of our homes are connected to the internet either via cable or dsl; but now there’s something relatively new from PLDT and it is called, FIBR. It uses fiber optic technology to deliver fast speeds and when you say fast, we are talking about megabytes to gigabytes of data per second! Now that’s blazing fast … imagine finishing a blue ray movie in seconds or streaming high definition movies without any hint of lag.

Let’s see… I’ll imagine that I am a character from the Hunger Games and I’ll tell you how FIBR can help me prepare and consequentially win this contest. As we saw in the first movie, it takes a lot of preparation and skills to even just survive; let alone win. So how should I do it?

First, I’ll do the preparation. I’ll be taking advantage of Fibr’s high speed internet to stream hundreds blockbuster movies on-demand from Clickplay. These movies are actually replays of the previous hunger games (e.g. Hunger Games 1). For example, I would be able to know that once the game starts; I should run immediately into the forest else I’ll be in the middle of a instant battle and might even die on the spot.  I would also be doing Browsing of multiple websites to read articles on fighting, camping, surviving, and any useful tips that can be applied like maybe there’s a website specializing in Hunger Games like (increase your survival rate by 50% or we will send flowers on your burial).

Now, I hope that these preparations are enough for me to survive and I know that I should do well because my friends and family will be watching me via their Cignal Digital TV channels. I should put on a great performance for the people in my village!

May the odds be in my favor! Onwards!

Till next time,
