Lately, pinoy bloggers have been optimizing for the keyword Googel to gain traffic and search engine rankings. This was discovered by Eli while making a typo when going to docs.google.com. So now, after making that typo, he decided to optimize for this keyword and looking at his traffic statistics, I can say it’s really doing good.So now, after he has increased his traffic, what should be done? Well, if you don’t monetize that traffic, it will just become useless traffic.
So I was thinking up of ways on how to monetize the Googel traffic because I’m sure there won’t be adsense clicks for these. So far, what I’ve done is to add a Googel Search Engine to that page. Why? Because, I’m sure that those who are looking for this word are looking for the Google search engine but they were just careless and made a typographical error. So by adding that customized search engine, perhaps they will find it useful and I might earn some cash along the way.
As of now, I just added the post yesterday and kept it away from my feeds so it will get indexed a bit later but I’m hopeful that there will be good results. If not, well, at least it’s still going to bring traffic to this blog. Of course, I will also post the results of my experiment here and I hope it can help those who are optimizing for these set of keywords.
Well, did you join the Google traffic? How do you plan to monetize it?
[...] Googel plus Googol equals traffic what’s next? [...]
I am also part of this project but until now I have not yet felt traffic maybe I optimize the wrong keywords??

Sometimes I don’t understand what you guys are doing…Shouldn’t you be focusing on your visitors, rather than search engines? I mean, if you build a site which visitors like, the traffic will follow. Just my 2 cents, so feel free to pile on, if you think this is wrong.
@Dexter – What keywords were you trying to optimize for?
@Ling – Hi Ling, basically what we are doing is to rank high for certain keywords which will bring search engine traffic to our blogs. I know that these kind of traffic has a low chance of becoming regular readers but as long as we can monetize from their visitors, I’m satisfied with it. ^_^
monetize it with blogbank
hehehe..

@Jehz – How do you track the stats in blogbank? Any idea how? hehe
monetizing a website is really a great way to earn money in a passive way just like real estate.`*-
