Google Just Disabled my Gmail account
Imagine my shock today when I tried to log-in to my Gmail account and found that I was disabled by Google. At that point, I was thinking, oh no! why? how do i get my account back? What did I do? Oh cr4p , omg , . A mix of emotions surrounded me but then I started reading on the instructions.
Google needs to verify my account by sending a text message. Luckily, they are able to send a text message to the Philippines so I inputted my mobile number and they sent me a code. It was fast! I got the code and sent it to this page. (Btw, the text message contained this – “Your Google verification code is XXXXXX“.
After that, I was able to log-in to my account again. I found an email that one of my blogger blogs was flagged for spam so I guess that is the reason why my account got disabled temporarily.
I’m breathing a sigh of relief now. ^_^

The same thing happened to me… When I first read your post I though you may need the tip about them sending an SMS Text message, but thankfully I see it asked for that on your end as well. That’s what I needed to do too, when they disabled my account.
Mind you, I never have figured out exactly WHY they disabled my account. Maybe it’s just a random selection to try and get an idea of exactly WHO is logging into that account? Can’t get more personal than a personal cell phone number I suppose.
google is really something. we panic (or worse) if we lose it. hahaha! i find that amusing.
