Happy Valentines Day 2011

Happy Valentines Day 2011

Happy Valentines Day to everyone!

This day is not only for the couples but to everyone including the singles, and the heartbroken! Some may call it, Happy Hearts Day or Single Awareness day, but it doesn’t matter, it is a day that is understood by everyone and it just depends on how or if they will celebrate it.

Today is a day where business usually booms especially if you are a flower shop, a gift shop, restaurants and bars, hotels and motels. Good for you if you are in this kind of business. Some people would spend a lot to buy something to give to their partners or to someone they like. Others would make plans ahead and do some advanced reservations because for sure, walk-in isn’t an option anymore today. While others would dig deep into their creativity and create something personal and unique to offer. There would be some that would just take the effort to be with their special someone with or without giving anything materialistic (just their time and company).

However, not all are feeling the same way. Others may feel their sadness magnified on this day especially when they recently lost their love ones (literally or figuratively). Others would complain on the hassle on doing things today (traffic jams, fully booked restaurants, love birds everywhere or whatever they can see that they want to complain about). Others would feel regret because they will be haunted by these two words, “What if?”. While others, would simply do nothing at all and treat this like any ordinary day.

As you can see, there’s a lot of different scenarios and emotions getting mixed up today but it would simply depend on your perspective and your choice. Which scenario would you want to be in? Do you want to be happy or you want to be sad or neutral? Do you want to express your emotions or you want to keep them to yourself?

Just random thoughts on this day. Enjoy the day 🙂

Till next time,

PS: Why limit yourself today when expressing your feelings for someone? You can always do it everyday and not just today.
