How to enable Google 2-Step Verification on your devices?
If you have recently enabled Google’s 2-Step Verification functionality, you might notice that some devices of yours that used to connect to your Google account might not work anymore. For me, it doesn’t work anymore for my Android Phone. In order to fix this, you just need to generate a new application-specific password to be used with your device. You can do this in 2 easy steps.
First, you will need to go to this address…
…so that you can name your device.
Upon clicking on generate password, you will get a password that you can use on your device. Once you have used the password and authenticated your device, you don’t need to save the password anymore.
In case, you lost the password, just generate a new one.
I think with that, you’re Google Account is now secured and you will have no problem accessing them with your devices. Thanks to Google 2-Step Verification.
Till next time,
Allen
