How to use Facebook Photo Uploader Chrome Extension?
When I switched to Google Chrome, I said good bye to Fire Uploader (Facebook Photo Upload plug-in for firefox). I have been doing uploads via Facebook’s interface until I saw this Chrome extension called, Facebook Photo Uploader. Here is how to use this extension.
First, you need to install it via this link.
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/phkpfppdodfmhpdgfeicmkpanfopahpk
After you install it, you can easily find it on your Chrome’s start page. There are two start pages for Chrome; [1] Most visited sites and [2] Apps. Go to Apps.

Upon clicking the Facebook Photo Uploader Icon, it will ask your permission to connect itself to your Facebook account. Allow it and you will start seeing your albums that you have uploaded sorted chronologically on the Album’s create date.

You can create a new album by clicking on the create album button.

In which a new album will be generated and drag pictures to it to upload pictures.

While uploading, you will see this status window where you can track progress.

and once done, you will see this.

Although relatively young and in its beta stages, it already manages to do some basic functionalities such as.
- Create Albums
- Drag and drop photos
- Status Bar
But it still needs improvements such as.
- Track the status of each photo (did it succeed? did it fail?)
- Status bar would get stuck and we won’t know (happens when uploading a lot of pictures)
- Click each album to sort, tag, edit, delete photos?
- Album modifications (edit, rename, put primary pic)
- Drag and drop albums from computer ?
If you have other ideas or suggestions, you can contact the developer via their Facebook page.
