Man tries to pay bill with spider drawing

Man Tries to Pay bill with spider drawing

Since I’m bed ridden due to sickness, all I can do is either sleep or use my laptop. I want to share with you this funny story about a guy. As far as I’ve read, this is a true story. (Link after the jump)

Man Tries to pay bill with spider drawing

but that is not all,

the alleged spider drawing got sold on Ebay for 15k US Dollars!

I hope you will get a good laugh out of this. ^_^

Thats so funny that someone would try to sell a painting for something he needed and people just want money now days they don’t think of a painting as money and how much it could be worth. Keep me updateed on what happens.

That is ridiculous. The girl at the utility company probably has way too much time to be responding to spiders with 7 legs as payments. Good read, though. And hope you’re feeling better now, Allen.

I caught the Ebay auction when it was still up and some of the questions people were asking were really funny.

I forgot to check back, so it was cool to read the news article you posted. I wonder if the guy will actually get paid $15K? If he does, I might have to invest a day a week to making spider pictures :)

This spider is amazing, I could laugh at this article for days. It’s also the inspiration behind:

That’s hilarious. I love the stab at the end about providing something of no value and then attaching a large amount to it. :)

I laughed so hard when reading this. What a great idea, I just might have to try it on someone else. Although now it has probably gone viral and everyone knows not to fall for that trick. Thanks for sharing this and making my day!

Wow, who would’ve thought that companies don’t accept drawings? What kind of a country do we live in?
