Manila Bay Cruise - Before Boarding

An activity that interesting to do but we haven’t yet tried was to go on a cruise. Thus on our 2nd anniversary, I planned to include this activity to our special day and I have to thank the suggestions on the recent 2nd Lahniversary Giveaway because that’s where I knew about this idea.

The Manila Bay Sunset Cruise was being offered by Sun Cruises. It costs PHP 550 each and it is inclusive of a set dinner, about an hour of cruising and acoustic performance. However, for our experience, we availed of the upgraded version offered by Pirmi Travel Services that’s called the “Romantic Dinner Cruise”.

The Romantic Dinner Cruise costs PHP 3500 (or PHP 4000 with flowers) for two and it includes the following:

  • Bottle of Red Wine
  • Lover’s Cake
  • Personalized Butler Service
  • Romantic Table Set-up
  • A picture frame with your picture on it (need to be submitted prior to the cruise date)

We picked the 615pm cruise schedule (they also have 430 and 8pm) as that would be the perfect timing to catch the Sunset.

Coordinating with Pirmi Travel Services was easy. I just called them to ask about the package then once I decided to avail of the package, they sent me an email so that we can provide more details. Upon arriving at the terminal (we were early), we were instructed to submit the voucher to the cashier and we were given boarding tickets. Mary Anne, our designated butler was in contact with us the whole time during our stay.

While waiting for the cruise to start, Mary Anne was offering to take pictures of us so…

Our Personalized Table. The other tables only had a simple mantle but ours had this special presentation with rose petals all over it.

Manila Bay Cruise - City Lights

During the cruise, you can appreciate the sun set from a distance, see the city lights especially the ones at SM Moa By the Bay. There was also an acoustic performer playing songs all through out the cruise. He also accepts song requests and if you are brave enough, you can sing while he plays.

Manila Bay Cruise - Set Meal

Our Set Meal Dinner. Our dinner was composed of Fish Fillet, Beef and Vegies and Iced Tea for drinks. I didn’t have much expectations on the set food but I was surprised because it actually tasted really good (especially the beef). For desserts, we were served with Coffee Jelly.

Manila Bay Cruise - with Flowers, Cake and Wine

Now here comes the extra part… because right after out meal, two wine glasses suddenly appeared on our table with a bottle of wine. Aside from that, the chocolate cake and the bouquet of flowers found their way into our table and Jessa’s arms respectively. For those who want the specifics, the wine was Merlot and the cake was from Red Ribbon. We only had a sip and a small slice from the cake thanks to the yummy dinner that we had.

Overall, the experience was really good and although we paid extra, it was definitely worth it as it was really made special. Thank you Pirmi Travel Services for the wonderful experience that you have given us.

Till next time,

Allen

My sister & her bf also celebrated their anniversary there. She told me that it’s a good experience @ I should try it or the Corregidor Cruise. They got their voucher at a discount through Metrodeal I think.
