Max’s Restaurant Chicken All You Can Thanksgiving Blogger Event
Last week, I was invited by Max’s Restaurant to join their Thanksgiving Blogger Event for the success of their Max’s Restaurant Chicken all you can promo. Basically, they invited bloggers who blogged about their promo and they were very happy with the results. A lot of people really tried this promo and they shared to us that the record for most chicken pieces ate was 14 (so that would be around 4 and 1/2 whole chickens). My own record was only 6 when I tried the promo last time.
When I got there, I was greeted by Kim (the one who emailed me) and led to me a seat. I honestly did not know anybody anymore as it has been a long time since my last blogger event and the ones I know who blogged about it too were not there. Oh well, I guess it was time to add more to my friend list.
The event started with some thank you messages and some more information about the promo by Max. They had a little ice breaker where they were asking a few bloggers if they have tried the event and if how many chickens they ate. I raised my hand as I was proud of my 6 and was given a chicken hat. Although all of us were given chicken hats too
Then after that, we were shown a chicken dance performance! (Just kidding), basically a few waiters and one waitress danced to the tune of “Do You Remember” by Jay Sean Ft. Sean Paul (nice song btw). After that, we were given a surprised as they announced that they will be giving us one serving of … “chicken all you can!” and aside from that, they will also let us try their two new dishes (for more info about these new dishes, check it out in my food blog “Max’s Restaurant New Dishes“). It really made me regret that I ate something before coming because I had limited space for the overflowing chicken.
There was another surprise! The waiters who served our chicken are those waiters you can see in their poster for the promo. Not everyone was there but I was really surprised! So far this was what I ate: (1 serving of rice, 3 chicken pieces, a few samples of Pork Binagoongan and Chicken Caldereta and two glasses of Iced Tea).
Following dinner was where they started giving us a token in the form of a cake and we had our group pictures taken. A few minutes later, I said my goodbyes and went back to office.
Thank you Max’s Restaurant for the wonderful dinner! Let us know if you will be returning the promo soon as we, bloggers, will blog it again. (They want us to check out their facebook account for more news, I already “liked” it).
