There are actually two types of players in Philippine Ragnarok.

  1. The player who does not know how to bot
  2. The player who knows how to bot

Why do I say this?

Philippine RagnarokBasically there are players who like to play Ragnarok so that they can pick a job class, kill monsters, sell items, kill monsters, upgrade their equipment, kill monsters, change to a new class, kill monsters, join parties and guilds, kill monsters, reach level 99 and kill monsters. Did you notice anything? The phrase “kill monsters” is mentioned repetitively in the sentence.

If you think about it, Ragnarok is simply killing monsters so that you can level up. Most of the time you will kill, loot and then repeat. If you are player # 1 (refer to list above), you will be doing this manually and I wonder how many months will it take you to reach level 100? However, if you are player # 2, I’m sure you will be resorting to using a bot!

What is a bot? Ragnarok bot? Valkerie bot?

*It can be called a lot of names such as pRO bot, ragnarok bot, valkerie bot, valhalla bot, botbot, or anything you can call it but it is the same thing. I’ll just call it ragnarok bot.

Let me first define what a bot is in general:

A program that runs on the computer 24 hours a day, seven days a week, that performs and automates mundane tasks. (source)

In the virtual world of Philippine Ragnarok, it is very similar. A ragnarok bot is a third party program (not affiliated with level up games) that you can install to play Ragnarok for you. What you do manually while playing Ragnarok will be done automatically by these Ragnarok bots. These bots can kill monsters, loot them for items, use skills, chat, buy and sell items and move around just like a normal person. You will still be able to level up, gain items, change jobs and more importantly, kill monsters, but without all those clicking!

Pros and Cons of Philippine Ragnarok botting

Pros

  • Can be automated to do anything you want (e.g, attack, loot, buy, sell, use skills)
  • Can be ran 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (Configure and leave it)
  • Level up way much faster than normal play

Cons

  • If you get caught and reported, you risk losing your account and getting banned.
  • Takes the fun away from playing?

Where can I download Ragnarok bots?

Ragnarok Bot Sample Run

Since this is just an introduction, I won’t tell it for now. But I can give you a headstart, use google.

LevelUpGames’s policy on botting

LevelUpGames (Philippine Ragnarok) does not like bots and wants to ban them on sight. I got this from a post in Ragnaboards.

Attention Citizens of Valkyrie!

Please be advised that anyone who is caught using a third party program/bot in Valkyrie server shall be suspended permanently.

Please be guided accordingly.

Conclusion of Philippine Ragnarok botting

Botting in Ragnarok can give you huge gains over other players (who don’t bot) but it can be risky. If you get caught, say goodbye to that account although you can just easily create another account right? So as a final note, let me say this…

Bot at your own risk. Don’t blame me or anybody else if you get caught or you downloaded a hacked bot file that stole your account details.
