1. how to combine psp .rar files?

Usually when you download psp games using the Bittorrent technology, you will see that there are multiple files for one game. These are what you call rar archives or it’s simple one big file chopped into multiple parts. Example, for the game Wild arms XF, it would look like this.

Wild Arms XF.rar
Wild Arms XF.r00
Wild Arms XF.r01
Wild Arms XF.r02

Actually, you don’t need to combine the psp rar files. You simply find the file that has the extention of .rar (usually the first file) then use winrar to extract the files. Winrar will automatically get from all the rar archives to extract your game which in this example is Wild Arms XF.

2. how to copy games from rar to psp?

Aha! This question is a good follow-up for question # 1. Well, a psp game download stored in a RAR is useless because you can’t play it right? So what you need to do is first extract the psp game from the RAR archive. You will probably be getting an ISO file (Wild arms XF.ISO) or a CSO file (Wild arms XF.CSO).

The next thing you should do is to connect your psp to your computer and then copy the ISO or CSO file into the ISO folder of your PSP. I’m assuming you are running on PSP Custom Firmware and not Official firmware ok? After copying, you can play it by going to the memory stick in your PSP XMB.

3. how to download firmware 4.01?

The easiest way to download firmware 4.01 is to use the PSP network update. However, it would depend on what 4.01 firmware do you want. Is it the custom firmware 4.01 or the official firmware 4.01.

4. how to download game from gamestorrents.com?

Basically, you need two things

1. Utorrent – Bittorrent client (http://utorrent.com)
2. Winrar – Unrar those games (http://rarlab.com)

You can’t play torrent psp games. However, you can use the torrent to download a psp rar game. Then you can extract the psp game from the rar game and copy it to your psp. Thus you can now play.

6. how to upgrade from ofw 3.90 to cfw 4.01?

Oh! You would need a Pandora’s battery for this. Although I could not answer because I have not tried this. I don’t want to risk destroying your psp because of my information that I have not tested yet.

8. what is m33-2 in psp?

M33-2 in PSP is an update to the M33 custom firmware for PSP. M33 is a group that decodes the official firmware of PSP and releases a custom firmware which allows you to do a lot of things in your psp that official firmware cannot. One of this is the ability to play psp game roms on your PSP where you don’t need an UMD.

Usually, their first release is in the format of PSP version M33 (for example 4.01 M33). However, from time to time, they find some bugs or problems in their releases that is why these release updates which they have the format of PSP version M33-Update #. So M33-2 is basically an update to M33 regardless of firmware. I have personally seen up to M33-4.
