Wow! I’m now on Issue 12! That would mean that my blog is three months old. Time really does fly fast when you are not keeping track of time. I can still remember the time where I was pretty excited in getting my own domain and webhost so I can blog. But anyways, let me dish out the links for this week.

First week on a job

This marks the end of my first week working in HP. Actually, I have not yet done a single piece of work since we had orientation on the first three days, meeting with our colleagues in the fourth day and doing some training on the fifth day. I am still trying to get used to my working schedule (especially waking up early in the morning!!!). I like the working environment there. Everyone is very welcoming to new hires such as me. They would smile at you when you pass by their cubicles. I also like the unlimited choco latte that their pantries have and also the well furnished toilet. I can release with ease! Actually I’m quite excited for my next week … oh no more trainings! But I have to endure them all so that I can reach my first payday! Yahoo!!!

UAAP Season 70 Basketball Finals Game 2 - DLSU VS UE

De La Salle was able to win last thursday and gave UE their first loss of the season. I’m sure UE will bounce back hard on Game 2, October 7 2007. I was not able to watch the first game due to work. I just relied on Deryk’s newscasting but his phone line got disconnected in the middle of the game (poor quality!). In the end, I received a text that DLSU won against UE by 1 point! I’m sure it was exciting like hell and I wish to see the replay of the game.

Now, here are the highlights of the game according to Deryk…

It was TY Tang who was doing things for DLSU. Also, Pocholo Villanueva was a big help too. Every time UE would gain the lead, it was Pocholo who will do some scoring and make some Steve Nash like assists to catch up. But of course, Pocholo isn’t Pocholo without the turnovers.

UE had a chance to win the game. The last shot of UE was uncontested and the ball just rattled out of the ring. It was a very close call. Good game for both teams. ^_^

Now, I am pretty much excited to see Game 2, even just on TV where it has a three second delay. GO LA SALLE! or.. go vlsalle? haha
