Silkenhut Reaching Out Issue 36
Ha! Reaching out time again. I had a few problems with my internet connection lately but by hook or by crook, I’ll still try to publish this post. ^_^
- Lately there has been news that local newspapers and tv shows were using pictures that are owned by bloggers and they do not cite them as sources. This is a disgrace to those thieves. If you are a victim, then I suggest you read these tips when your copyrighted materials are used without your permission.
- Do you have a blog that’s dieing? Then you should quickly revitalize it else it will continue to die.
- VikingBlogger shares with us how scammers scam people. Learn about it so that you will not be a victime in the future.
- As another warning of a scammer, beware of YM Scammers. Last year, a blogger’s Yahoo account was hacked and the hacker is using his yahoo messenger account to message his contacts. Beware of the Tagailog23 ym account!!!
- Mikko shares with us his experience with PHP Speedy which claims to speed up your wordpress. I’ll try this with my other blogs to see if they get speed up. ^_^

Sorry if I haven’t been on the Blog scene for a while due to school but I would like to extend my gratitude for posting something about that hacker to got into my account. I really appreciated your concern.
On a sidenote, I do promise to get back on the scene when I get the chance…maybe in a month or two since I’ll be on internship this coming summer. But again thank you.

@Phaelun – That’s scary. You should be proud of your contents because it was written by you. Just the thought of having others benefit from your works, make one feel very bad.

Sadly I think I may not. Yahoo has been ignoring me since January and it’s like mid-April (and I had a lot of other important stuff to do for school other than poring over a hacked account) Though I wanna get it back. So I did made a new account instead but decided to be more careful.
On a lighter (and unrelated) note, Kudos 2 u for posting something on how to install WordPress locally since it helped me in redesigning my friend’s blog. I posted something about it. ^^;

Nope. It still didn’t help. =0. About the guide I think I may have read it by chance since it caught my attention while I was surfing on your blog. Very useful. ^^b
