Silkenhut’s 2011 Birthday Contest
Hello everyone,
My birthday is coming up and I’ll be entering the “quarter life” club. With that, I thought of having a mini contest to celebration that day and to share my blessings that blogging has given me. I have been blogging on silkenhut.com since 2007 and I’m happy to say that it has been a good money earner. It may not be as big as other people’s income but it is already enough to supplement my salary in my normal day job.
So without further ado, let me discuss the contest mechanics.
- Everyone who has a blog and can make a post is welcome to join. (Actually, even if you don’t have a blog, you can still join! Everyone is welcome to join!)

- Contest starts on April 15 and will end on May 21, 1159pm SGT (you can already start but I will count comments posted between the specified date/time only)

Just leave a comment here telling me what you have done. You can always resubmit but I will count your latest comment only.

How will I pick the winner?
I will tally the points and use an online randomiz-er (how do you spell this… lol) to pick out the winners. Depending on your points, that will be the number of times your name will show up so the more points you have, the chances of winning.
You can only win once and in case you were super lucky, then the prize with the higher value will be yours.
Prizes to be won
- First Place winner = $ 250 in paypal money
- Second place winner = $ 100 in paypal money
- Third Place winner = $ 50 in paypal money
