Hi! I'm Allen and I welcome you to my blog. I blog mainly about my blogging experiences where I get to learn how to earn money online through blogging and have fun doing so. To learn more about my blog, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. If you have some questions, feel free to ask me by using my contact form. Thank and have a nice day.
While browsing through the posts in Google Reader, I read about this website called SNAPBOMB. Now what is snapbomb?
Well, as a short summary, Snapbomb is a place where you can get paid to blog or write a review about a product, service or another website.
Snapbomb
Advertisers need somebody to generate buzz to increase exposure of their product and they are willing to pay for the exposure. They also want to know the feedback of people on their products and services so that they can improve on it. Now who can do this? The answer is simple. Bloggers can do it. Bloggers can write about the advertiser’s product on their blog. They can write a review on it which will be read by the visitors of the blog. Now the problem is, how can advertisers find bloggers and how can bloggers find advertisers? Here comes snapbomb… Snapbomb is simply a bridge where advertisers and bloggers can meet.
As a blogger
Since most of the readers here are fellow bloggers or those who want to make money online, I will discuss the blogger’s side.
Registration in Snapbomb is easy. It won’t even take 2 minutes. You will just have to give out some info such as your name and password and you are set. You will be automatically logged-in.
Now the first thing you should do is to add your blog to Snapbomb.
After adding your blog, Snapbomb will automatically calculate your “blog’s worth“. This will determine the recommended amount you will get per post. Note that there is no fixed amount per post so in every post, you will get different amounts.
After that, you can now look for opportunities that you can blog about. (clue: Snapbomb itself is an opportunity)
Notes and Tips:
So what do you think? Would you join snapbomb?

2I agree with Dexter, but if you need additional income then why not. After all, this is the main purpose why we’re blogging and that is to make money.

4Well, hope you enjoy it, until Google cracks down on them too.
Seriously, pay for post blogging is a concept which is bound to go out of style once all the search engines come together and decide to put an end to it. If I were you, I’d be looking at alternate revenue sources before things get worse. Just my 2 cents, so you may of course disagree with me.

5Thanks for sharing. Do they have referral program; so you could be my referrer. The payout is high but the payment period is long. It’s just OK.

6An alternative for PPP or smorty and others…
But 60 days? It’s a bit too long compared to others of the same service. But if you enjoy blogging, you wont notice that long 2 months..

11@ITrush - Hmm yes this can be considered as additional income. Although it’s my not real purpose for blogging as long as I can get back my initial investment for this blog, I will be happy. ^_^

13@Ling - I know that google hates paid posting but I thought about it when I got google slapped. I can’t let google be the boss of my blog. Also, when I checked my statistics, I did not see a drop in visits even if I got a PR of 0. So what do you think are the other effects of paid posting aside from PR 0?

14@Tom - Yeah too bad there is no referral system. But it’s ok, as long as we can make money out of it.

15@Elizar - I have not yet joined PPP but have joined smorty. Lately, I have not gotten any new opportunities for smorty. I’m still not clear with the 60 days thingy but I’ll update you when I’ve reached 60 days. haha

16@Pets - Yes that’s the idea. More sources of income even if it’s just paid posting.

17@Hugo - I also noticed that. I’m thinking that since they are still new, there are just a limited number of opportunities available.

18@Allen - What I think is that taking away the PR was just a warning shot. If they get really serious about it, they could start dropping blogs out of search results. Believe me, it’s very painful when google drops your site.

19@Ling - I see. Now that’s scary but has there been any cases where one was really dropped out of Google’s search results due to paid posting?
