Super Mario World on my PSP
Want to know what I was doing these past few days?
Well, I have been eating mushrooms, collecting coins, headbutting blocks, defeating koopas and rescuing princesses over and over again.
In short, I have been playing Super Mario World!
This surely brings back memories when I was still a kid and playing Super Nintendo. I’m sure I wasn’t able to get all the secret levels of that game so this time, I now have a chance to do it. Thanks to the SNES emulator for PSP. It is very easy to install actually. At first, I thought I needed to install the 1.50 kernel but to my disappointment, I don’t actually need it.
All I have to do is to look for the snes emulator and copy the files to my psp, and voila, mario would be jumping up and down defeating turtles and other creatures. There are also a lot of other games included in the torrent file but I’ve yet to play them all.
I never got to own a super nintendo before. I usually go to my couzins to play SNES because I only have Sega. I realized I missed a lot of early RPG games because of that lack of SNES. Here’s a couple that I’ve heard:
Chrono Trigger, Secret of Manga, something something gaea, breath of fire 1 and 2, lufia 1 and 2 and many more.
Well, with the power of the emulator, I could play them all again. Only if I finish Mario first. I’m currently at the last castle before bowser (although I defeated him already via the star world shortcut). So many games, so limited time.
If you were me, would you still play these games?
Till next time,
