Things to do on Mother’s Day

Mother’s day is approaching fast and it is already scheduled at the end of the week, May 11, 2008. We have one week and I would like to share with you what you can for your Mother on that day.

Start by greeting here first thing in the morning when you wake up, “Happy Mother’s Day” with a hug and kiss. You can also tell her that you love her. I’m sure she will be happy to know that you do.

Then for the rest of the day, try your best to make her day very special. Spend lots of time with her by going out with the rest of the family. Let her relax and enjoy so never let her foot the bill on anything! The goal here is to pamper her and make her feel special so treat her on everything. Food, Spa, or anything that you can think of.

If you want to give her gifts then the best thing I can think of is flowers. You can also give out personalized cards, a brand new bag or even a large check for shopping. Whatever gift you give out, I’m sure she will like it because it came from you and you spent time conceptualizing on that gift. Just don’t buy those stuffs from gift shops because they are too common and will be bought by other people. It won’t be unique. ^_^

Hi! You are invited to a focus group discussion (FGD). Date would be May 8 (Thursday). This is to be conducted by a team from dot ph domain (i.ph). FGD will be about the trend of blogging now. We would be discussing what it means to blog in the present times and what motivates us as Filipinos to blog. Furthermore we will be tackling issues like which blog sites are frequently used and why. FGD is to be held at Jollibee Plaza, Emerald Avenue, Ortigas at Dot ph domain office. FGD would be after office hours, approximately starting around 630-7pm. Snacks will be provided. Thanks for the heads up. I always remember about mothers day in April, but forget by May. I am going to have to get working on a gift.

Last year I got my mom a gift certificate for a manicure/pedicure and she seemed to really like it.

I not sure what we will do for mothers day.
Maybe goto the zoo, beach again, shopping.

@Porch Lifts - Oh cool! I don’t remember giving my mother any gifts last year on mother’s day. haha that’s why I was inclined to make this post as to make others give gifts to their mother and make them proud.
