WordPress 2.5 has been released

Great news everyone! After waiting patiently for wordpress 2.5, I just found out that it got released. Read more about it here in some of the blog posts of the WordPress people.

As usual you can download wordpress at their site, http://wordpress.org/download/. Btw, check out their new interface. They also changed how the wordpress.org site works.

I’m still going over the files and will be doing the upgrade tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Stay tuned as I post here my upgrade experience.

      we’ll all be going over the plugins again.
      It’s a real pain when you have 5+ blogs to update lol.

      @sylver – There are automatic upgraders for wordpress. I use the fantastico wordpress upgrade for the other wordpress blogs I made using fantastico too.

      well yeah.. there’s a plugin called WPAU… makes the job quite easier but I still need to keep track of the working plugins.

      Anyway I’ve just updated Pinoy Tech Guy and it’s great. Too bad ALL my Dashboard modding plugins are now practically useless =(

      @Dexter – Ahh yeah, blogspot is ok to use it’s free. I’ve been thinking of switching some of my less important blogs to blogspot too but had been lazy. hehe

      Well after you install WPAU. Everything’s easy since WP has now the feature of upgrading you other plugins with just a click of a button. There’s some plugins that don’t work well with it yet like UserOnline (by Lezter-chan) and the new TinyMCE Advance 3.0 but overall it’s a nice upgrade. To bad the Save and Continue Editing button is now gone.
