WordPress 2.7 Beta 1 Released

Just a quick news for everyone using wordpress, yesterday, Wordpress 2.7 Beta 1 has been released. To those who want to test this out, feel free to do so and try the new features that have been added to it. However, I’d still suggest that you wait till it is out of the beta stage before you install it to your blog, especially if your blog is a live blog (just like this blog).

Wordpress 2.7 has been initially scheduled for release on November 10, 2008 but the developers have mentioned that they won’t be able to make it by that time. As of now, there are no definite schedule but just an estimate that it will be released by the end of November.

But if you are that curious to see the new features, you can install wordpress 2.7 locally on your computer just to take a peek. Good luck and enjoy!
