I’ve been thinking about the bandwidth usage of my other blog and I realized that in the near future, it’s bandwidth usage will become higher so I tried to look at the other plans that my current webhost, HostGator. There are a lot of bloggers who think that page rank is really important to their blog. It is only important if you are trying to sell links on your blog. Also, selling links is not a long term solution to your blog because once Google detects you doing so, BOOM! Page Rank = 0 and usually advertisers won’t buy links at your blog because your PR is 0. So instead of concentrating on your page rank, I suggest that you concentrate on adsense instead.

Gift Baskets are simply an assorted collection of different items with a similar theme. For example, a swimming gift basket would contain sunblock, lotions, goggles and face towels. Once in a while, my friends would ask me what am I doing to waste/spend my time when I’m not at work or not doing anything else. I would reply, “I’m blogging” and then they would look at me with weird looks. Of course, their reactions would even be weirder when I’m say that I’m earning from it which leads me to my question for today.
How would you explain blogging to a non blogger?
For example, what if your friend named “Arlo Gilbert” would ask you, what the hell is blogging? How would you explain to him?
