Hi! I'm Allen and I welcome you to my blog. I blog mainly about my blogging experiences where I get to learn how to earn money online through blogging and have fun doing so. To learn more about my blog, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. If you have some questions, feel free to ask me by using my contact form. Thank and have a nice day.
Wordpress 2.3.1 has just been released yesterday and I recommend that everyone should update immediately. There have been bugs that have been fixed but more importantly, there’s a security issue that can be exploited if you do not upgrade.
Unfortunately, some security issues were found in 2.3. Janek Vind found an XSS problem that can be exploited if your php setup has register_globals enabled. For this reason, upgrading to 2.3.1 is advised.
I found out about this update when I logged in into my wordpress dashboard and I found this update notification from wordpress. Not only does wordpress notify you when there are updates in the plugin but also when there’s also an update for wordpress.
For a list of changes and fixes of wordpress 2.3.1, please visit the trac site or if you want to see a more detailed (human readable) result, please check out wordpress 2.3.1 in detail. So now, if you are ready and have done your backups, then you can now…
Reaching out Issue 15 will be rescheduled on October 29 to give way to this important wordpress update.
