Matt Mullenweg in the Philippines for Wordcamp
Matt Mullenweg in the Philippines
Guess who is on the Philippines right now? It’s none other than Matt Mullenweg.
You may be wondering who is Matt? Well, if you love wordpress, you got to love Matt too because as far as I believe, they are one. Matt is the father of wordpress and he is here for a special wordpress event here in the Philippines.
Matt is here to attend WordCamp Philippines 2008 which sadly, I wasn’t able to register because I forgot to do it. I only remembered to register when I read that the registration has been closed. Oh well, good luck to all the participants, oh how I envy you all. :p
Just a reminder, the event is on September 6.

Wordpress is pretty cool. I have been playing around with Joomla some though and as a back end, I like it better, because it gives you a lot more control.
Do you think there is any chance of waiting outside the event on the 6th and purchasing a ticket? Maybe there will be a wordpress scalper…
hope there is also a similar one for blogspot users.
by the way, i just voted for u. exchange votes tayo kasi nominated din ako sa isang contest. ill vote for u everyday.

Hey, Allen. What’s up? Haven’t seen any updates lately. Very busy, are we?
It must be exciting to be able to travel like that. As for my, I have never been to the Philipines yet. The closest I have come is to Thailand.
Kudos to you.
