Synergy One International | Synergy Global International
Please take time to read if you answer yes to any of the questions below
- Did you get a call from a stranger inviting you to a sideline that could make you earn a lot of money at home?
- Did you get invited to have an interview / job offer at 15th floor Octagon Building?
- Are you wondering how this person got your number / contact details?
- Are you curious on what the real deal is with Synergy One International or Synergy Global International and why I bother blogging about this?
Ok, if you answered yes to any of those questions above then allow me to give you information about Synergy Global International.
What is Synergy Global International? What is Synergy One International?
If you will do a search about this, you will find blogs that speak ill of these companies. Well, after all they have gone through I won’t blame them. But for the sake of knowledge, let me tell you about them.
Synergy is actually a “company” that is located at 15th floor Octagon Building, San Miguel Avenue, Ortigas Pasig City. They are a company that promotes healthy and beauty products and are related to NuSkin. Well, aside from selling these products, they have another line where you can join as an affiliate and be a seller of their products.
Now as affiliates, not only do they sell products but they also sell “membership” to other people to be affiliates too. The membership fee is expensive and almost 1/2 to 1 month salary of other people and because of that, people will be reluctant to buy. That is why; they will resort to other methods to convince you.
Did a stranger contact you offering a large amount of compensation?
Imagine this, one day you are living your life and enjoying it when you suddenly get contacted by someone you don’t know. Here is a short script of what they will tell you.
Caller: Hi there, I’m blah blah blah and I heard from a friend that you are hard-working, talented and goal-oriented (insert more praises here). I have a job offer / interview with you that will make you earn at least PHP 5-15k on your first month! Would you like to join XXX?
At this point, your good nature will kick in and you will try to entertain him/her because he just praised you a lot. But you will also be curious to know more about XXX because I’m sure no one wants to go or venture into something they don’t have an idea about. So you will probably ask more about them and their company.
Caller: Oh the details are hard to explain over the phone. How about, instead, I’ll give you a personal invite to go to 15th floor octagon building and there you will know everything about us.
Now it depends whether you will agree to them or not. Basically, their next line to make you commit will be like this.
Caller: Ok, I will set a personal meeting with you at (insert date here) 7pm sharp. You know, you sound very professional so you will not bail out on this. I’m actually canceling my other meetings so that I could accommodate you.
and the praises will go on until you will finally agree to go with them.
15th Floor Octagon Building
This is the so called headquarters of the members of Synergy. Usually when they contact you either through phone or by text messages, they are going to say, “It’s hard to explain over the phone or through text, just go to 15th floor Octagon Building and you will know more about us“. You won’t be able to get much information about them because they will not tell you anything except that you have to go that place to know what exactly they are offering you, what you are going to do or what the hell they are talking about.
Now what can we expect from here?
Well, first of all, I’m sorry to say but you will not get a job interview here. Were you even asked to bring your resume?
What you will get from here is a long 2 hour video presentation about their company (similar to onboarding processes of companies). The presentation will contain their products, their goals, what you can possibly get from them, what you can earn and some pictures of their successful members. And of course, after that, their executives will try to talk you into joining and paying a membership fee for the training materials.
The fee, well, it’s not that expesnive. It’s jut PHP12,600 and since you can earn 5-15k on your first month, it’s like free money right? Well, before you agree with my statement, did you ever question on how you can earn that? So far, all you know is you can have the potential to earn that much but HOW?
By recruiting others, you will earn
I’m not so sure if you are familiar with affiliate marketing but if you are not, let me give you a quick overview. Companies are always looking for people to promote and spread the word about their product. They know that people won’t usually do this for free so they offer commissions to people to sell their product. The concept of commissions is if you are able to sell something, the company will pay you. So the more you sell, the more you earn. If you don’t sell, you don’t earn.
Actually, this is how they operate. You will get to sell products and you earn commission on them. But the bulk your income is when you can sell memberships to non members. So you need to invite a lot of people, make them go through the 2 hour long presentation and be able to convince them to shell out PHP12k so you can make a sale and get your commissions. That is how you can earn 5-15k a month or more.
Recruitment Strategies
Now that you know what you have to do in order to earn, I’m pretty sure that you won’t tell someone you are inviting that you are simply inviting them so that you can make a sale out of them and earn commissions. Instead, you will simply hide the word recruitment and replace it with words such as, job opportunities, big money earning potential, thinking for the future, easy money and other phrases that can get people to bite.
So how do you do this?
- First, start by getting a lot of contacts that you can contact then starting contacting them.
- You have to start the call by using praises about them even if you don’t know them. Tell them that they are DEDICATED, HARDWORKING, GOAL ORIENTED, HANDSOME, and GULLIBLE. Tell them that you got your info from a friend, headhunter, friend of a friend or even from your dog.
- Now if they start asking questions, try to change the topic or simply tell them that it is easier for a horse to fit inside the head of a needle than for you to answer their inquiries over the phone or through text. Tell them that it is very complicated however…
- You are supposed to be a busy man (remember you have to call a lot of people) so simply invite them over to 15th floor Octagon building so that all their questions will be answered. No more, no less! Remember that, the less they know about your company and what your ultimate motive is, the better.
- Since you are a terribly busy man, you should tell them that you are giving them an opportunity to earn a lot of money and you are doing your best to sacrifice time from your busy schedule just to give them this (make them feel important and loved). Your goal here is to make them commit into coming to your base!
- If they say yes that they will go, you have to ask all your fellow members to help you make him shell out his cash when he is already at your base. Make sure that when he leaves the 15th floor octagon building, he has lost 12k or you have his word that he will join and pay up.
- After the deed is done, smile and repeat again from step one. Easy money baby!
I apologize that it’s a bit generic and there are people smarter than me who can do better than that but basically, for most of them, that is their strategy.
Bloggers have been through these
Remember at the start of this post where I mentioned that if you search about this in search engines, you will find negative blog posts about Synergy One International or Synergy Global International? Well, that is because the members made a mistake by trying to recruit bloggers. Why would it be a mistake? It is because, bloggers have blogs and blogs can be read by anyone on the world wide web. Simply add a dash of SEO and bloggers can rank first in search engines.
So just a piece of advice, if you want to recruit bloggers, make sure that you get them to commit else you will then see your name and your number of the search results labeled as a scammer. ^_^
Die Hard Members
Now after discussing bloggers, let us discuss the die hard members. Of course, the internet is for everyone and not just for bloggers so we also have die hard members. They are the ones who will usually go to the blogs of the bloggers who posted negative stuff and start insulting them, telling them they know nothing and they should just shut up. They will pick a fight with any body using their poorly constructed English sentences and their superior, I’m rich and you are not, ego personality as weapons. In a nutshell, they wish to protect their plans and their potential victims of gaining too much knowledge that they will get rejected when they invite. So they simply troll around.
If you join, will you be really earning?
Well, success is relative to your effort. For example, in regular 8-5 jobs, if you don’t strive hard or do your best, you won’t get bonuses or promotions so you will not be earning much. It is the same with affiliate marketing, you can’t just sit down and wait for money to come rolling in. You have to strive hard to get as much commissions as you can so that you can earn. Affiliate marketing is not a fixed source of income. Your income is proportional to the effort you are giving it so your success depends on you actually.
Conclusion
I thank you all for reading this very long write-up of mine and I hope you have learned something. I would like to clarify that I never mentioned in this post that Synergy One International is a scam. I hope you have read everything to agree with me that it is their recruiting strategy that is very questionable and very deceptive.
For those who have been invited, after reading this, I hope you will make the right choice and you will not regret it. If you wish to join, go ahead and may you be successful. If you don’t wish to join, then good for you. Think of the opportunity they offer you as a gamble.
For the members of Synergy reading this, well, if you want to insult or bash me by writing this post, go ahead. I will not stop you nor moderate your comments.
For my fellow bloggers, I hope you will spread the word about this and let everyone in your niche know more about this so that they will be informed on stuffs like this.
I hope you all enjoyed reading this. Have a great weekend everyone!
Update: Ah! If you want to read more personal experience with Synergy One International or Synergy Global International, I recommend you visit the blog titled, Beware of NuSkin. It is a blog created to spread the word of their deceptions because a fellow Filipino flew from Mindanao to Manila hoping to get a decent job but got something else instead.

I agree with what you said that their strategy is very questionable and very deceptive. Parang online survey na magbabayad muna ng $49.95 before doing the job. Nyok.. sa google nga mag e earn ka ng $1000 to $10,000 monthly without registration fees. Yung ibang tao ang daling maloko.. arrghhh!

I just bumped into an old classmate way back elementary at SM Megamall, and after a few minutes of hi and hello, of course it will direct to the question like what is your job now? etc, etc., She just mention about their office somewhere in Ortigas. When I start asking about it she just told me, she will text me some other time. . Then I go on shopping. After couple of weeks she start texting me, about the FREELANCE thing. . I start to question about the exact things that they do and what is the job in stored for me. Same thing, she starts to answer me in General nothing specific and same as what t mentioned she will just insist to come at their office because its hard to explain over the phone. I run into an idea that it is a PYRAMIDING SCAM. . . Because the details are quiet the same with what my best friend gone through. When I start to ask for some question she will answer it in a very vague way and again insist to come at their office. I didn’t thought of that way at first because with the personality my classmate has, being a valedictorian i don’t think she will result to just that kind of work. I told her I don’t want to go into things I don’t have any idea of.. Then before getting off our house today, I tried to search for their company ans here’s I found. I don’t have anything against my old classmate, but I think it’s not fair asking someone for their time and later “MONEY” without them knowing what it is all about. You can gain money by giving your best no matter how small your earning is, but not by DECEIVING other people… I just hope people are smarter now. Shelling out even half of your earnings for nothing is not a good way of letting people earn. It’s the fruit of your labor let others reap their own fruits as well..

oh well. nothing against on the company, nor you, nor how the company invites but ..
Look, when you go there, you lose nothing. seriously, just check out on the facts, and they won’t even force you to join. they’ll just present to you the facts. Weird thing is, THEY DONT EVEN FORCE YOU. And the weirder thing is, HOW COME YOU GUYS DIDN’T EVEN BOTHER CHECKING OUT ON THE DETAILS?
Well actually, synergy global according to my CREDIBLE research is that synergy is the company that provides trainings and the system to the distributors of Nu Skin Enterprises. and truthfully, san ka naman makakakita ng MNCs na ididiscuss sayo yung details over the phone?
and yung regarding sa “membership fee” na sinasabi niyo, you’re not paying for a MEMBERSHIP FEE. but you actually become a customer, you buy the products worth 12.6K. and that’s where things get started.
and obviously, their inviting strategy is not deceptive. its just that they are being fair with you to present you the BIGGER picture of the business project. And kung sino man sainyo na “JOB INTERVIEW” daw ung sinabi sa kanila is, well, you’re dead wrong. liar.
). it’s not employment-based, its a project-based actually. And sa nagsabi siguro nun sainyo, well, malamang wala na un sa nu skin, kase bano, ANG BOBO.
).
And lastly, I find it weird that people are thanking this blog for no whatever reasons. I mean, pwede ka namang pumunta sa appointment na yun? and then kung ayaw mo, eh di wag, okay lang. hindi ka naman icoconvince? tsaka kung pumunta ka naman, walang mawawala sayo e. I guess its just so true that FILIPINOS ARE POOR BECAUSE THEY MAKE POOR CHOICES. not all but for most of you filipinos. I just remember nung nainvite ako, I just thought na “titignan ko muna, mamaya na kita hihindian”.
Well, I hope I served you guys a lesson. I’m not part of NSE anyway, I was invited before, but I just gave my friend the spot. its just that I did credible research on the company. The company is great, the system of the company is great, but oh well, dahil lang siguro sa TANGA YUNG MGA TAO. :p.

sige nga, state your facts. i know NU skin provides training but it is up to the person still on how they use that training. if they use that training to trick people like saying that this is a job opportunity to earn thousands per month. Look how many people has been burned by NU skin members that are simply tarnishing Nu Skin’s name. It’s not our fault that you have rotten apples on your group.
The system/concept is great, but if you can’t apply it, it’s still a failure.

And I bet whoever in Nu Skin Philippines said na JOB interview ung pupuntahan ng mga iniinvite nila then now siguro wala na sila. tsaka isa pa you guys dont fet the concept of starting a business. grabe.

Bakit naging problema namin eto at bakit mo sinasabi na “you think they trick you”, ehhhh JOB OFFER nga ung sinasabi nila tapos mka pag earn ka ng 50K.

Kaya niyo naging problema kse PROBLEMA NIYO NA YANG MGA PINOY!
Sige nga, matanong nga kita kung ano alam mo sa MLM tsaka network marketing? Kung ihhire kita ngayon to work with me sa isang MLM company, ano unang ppasok sa isip mo? RECRUITING, BENTA-BENTA, tama?! kse misconceptualized niyo na e.
tsaka isa pa, yung membership na sinasabi mo, if I remember ir right almost 12k yung product to be purchased., ITS NOT CALLED A DUMB MEMBERSHIP FEE! Kaya niyo pnpurchase kse pra MAVERIFY NIYO NA GUMAGANA UNG PRODUCTS OR YUNG CERTAIN SERVICES NILA. grabe. FYI, Network Marketing is MARKETING PRODUCTS/SERVICES THROUGH PEOPLE’S NETWORK. Not just Recruting or benta-benta and stuffs. Grabe. MAG-ARAL NGA KAYO!
Tsaka in any business concept, you have to buy inventories first before you can sell, HINDI BA KAHIT MAGTATAYO KA NG SARILI MONG SARI-SARI STORE KELANGAN MO MUNA BUMILI NG PANINDA PRA MAKABENTA KA SA MGA SUKI MO?!
Tsaka I dont get you guys why you complain na kelangan magbayad, KSE HINDI BA NAGBABAYAD KA NG PANGGASTOS FOR EDUCATION PARA MAKAKUHA NG TRABAHO?!

hello sa u optionfinder…i tried nu skin products bago pa ako na invite sa mlm ek ek nila..i tried the products and i liked it.
i’ve been there..so sorry to say, nawalan ako ng gana to use nu skin dahil sa ginawa nilang networking scheme. kahit anong ganda ng products, if they’re using poor business practices, not mention unethical recruiting, nawawalan ng saysay. yung mga artistang sinasabi mo, kakagat yan dahil mayayaman na yan at sino ba magiging customer nila eh di mapepera din. use your common sense!

i was invited by this company in 2005 offering me to develop a system for them.
when i got there, i saw that it is just about networking of their beauty line and told me that it was not a job opening that they were offering me but an opportunity to earn, a business. i just left and went my way.
just today, 25 JUL 2009(SAT) noontime, i received a call from them offering me again a job opportunity to work as part time and earn as much as 30K. they want to schedule me for an interview on 27 JUL 2009 (MON) but i told them that i have work and cannot make it and if they have hold office on a saturday i might be able to give it a try. i was told that their office is just behind megamall, that they got my contact details from my college, that they cannot entertain my questions over the phone since the call to me was just to schedule me for an interview. i searched the net only to find out this site. my college confirmed me that they have also received calls from other alumni claiming they experienced the same.
i call for this company to have conscience and not mislead people to be given job opportunity specially during this time that the world is in financial turmoil. be truthful and tell them that it is networking. there are people there willing to still join networking.

SYNERGY ONE GLOBAL please educate your people to be truthful to those they share the opportunity. be truthful enough to tell people that it is not a job but NETWORKING business opportunity. Protect your name, your people your product Nu Skin and Phamrmanex.

Hello Nheo,
Thanks for sharing your experiences to this blog. Sooner or later (you already have one), a member of Nu Skin will react, call you names and say that you are spreading lies, but keep up the good work. They are just mad because the modus operandi of some of their members have been revealed. They are trying to keep their name clean but they can’t prevent their members from scamming people.
Thank you once again.

Thank u for the advise, I have an invitation from a certain Robbie de Guzman, now I know what is his real intention. Thanks again
Scammers! These people earn because their products are overpriced. Dyan sila kumikita. For all we know it’s so cheap to manufacture these products. Some of them di naman makinis mukha. The speakers are fake as well.

Di ba dapat long term pag ganyan ang machine? They can’t even explain ang methodology ng machine na yan pano nakakameasure.

Thanks for the advice. I received a call from a certain Mr. RobbIe de Guzman and he invited me to meet him at San Miguel Ave. on Mondat at 7pm, It’s really look like a waste of time, now its really hard to find a honest person, who will really help you to find for a job.

there is nothing wrong with any multi level , networking company…. what is wrong is that the way they invite people.. they need to be honest with intentions and Filipinos I think are already aware of this.We can discuss it to them via email or over the phone either way if they are really interested after that they will set appoinment with you.. What is hard is that we send a make believe message that is very enticing and create a hope. We should never forget that hardwork is the only way to success , no short cuts in life…

thanks for this. i just got a call from a MR. LOZANO (don’t know if that’s his real name, don’t care actually) of synergy last wednesday, september 9, 2009 at 2pm asking me if i could make it to a so-called business meeting either at trafalgar plaza or bdo twin towers (he wasn’t sure at the time) on friday, september 11, 2009, at 6:30pm. i didn’t confirm and asked how he got my number and he said that he got it from one of my former employers but couldn’t say clearly how he did. i asked if this is an mlm company and he said no, adding that if you’re an mlm member you’re not qualified to join them, and that being from an IT company he knows i’m a fast-thinker, that they need people they can trust for their “expansion” until 2015 (right, talking trust to somebody you haven’t even met), blah blah blah. then just this morning, i got a call from a certain VENUS who is from this mr. lozano’s office who was confirming our appointment. i never said yes to both of them because i was already having my doubts since i got that first call. good thing i came across this blog because my apprehensions have been confirmed. and yes, their english grammar really made me sick so i just spoke to them in Tagalog. btw, here are those phone numbers: MR. LOZANO-09209613533; VENUS- 09189206855; and this is the exact text message (of the appointment details) i got from venus after she called me: “Hi rip, venus here.our appmt later,630pm at 26F TRAFALGAR plaza,hv dela costa cor valero sts, salcedo village, mkati.see u there!” thanks again and i hope this would help put people in the know. oh, i almost forgot, are these the same people that frequent powerbooks at greenbelt and glorietta? i’ve been approached by four different people at different times who tried to make a conversation by asking if i’m a graduate of this and that university. i just thought these might be people from synergy as well.

Just to share my experience, Marami rami na rin ang akong mga tawag na natanggap, not just with Synergy but with other companies who have this same strategy. There’s nothing wrong with the blog but I can say na there’s nothing wrong accepting their invitation to drop by their office (if you have spare time). It’s up to the person kung kakagatin nila yung presentation ng company. If you’re asking what I did after attending those stuff, well nothing. I just checked kung papaano nila ilatag ang mga platforms and strategies nila sa pageenganyo ng tao to be part of their company pero di ako nag join kasi there’s more things na pwede kong ilaan ang perang hinihingi nila to join their company. If you’re smart enough, you’ll be able to find more things or think of other ideas where you can earn more money.

Your blog is actually true. The reason I researched on this because I just got a call wondering if I will waste my time going there.
However YOU insulted someone by saying that those members have POOR ENGLISH SKILLS! I noticed that you wrote “STUFF” as “STUFFS” which actually doesn’t have a plural form because you use “STUFFS”. This word with an “s” at the end is used as a verb.
But otherwise your English is great and you have conveyed your message. I actually laughed while reading your “stuff” because it happened to me 5 minutes ago. Shortly after reading your blog with a smile. I cancelled my meeting with them because I figured that my hunch was correct that this is a networking thing.

ATTENTION SCEPTICS!! Billionaire Donald Trump and millionaire Robert Kiyosaki are both endorsers of the network marketing industry simply because of its potential to help people start their own business at a LOW cost. Check out Robert Kiyosaki’s book entitled “Business School”, and you’ll get a deeper understanding of the industry. It’s just a matter of WHICH company you prefer to partner up with. So…I’d rather listen to SUCCESSFUL, WELL-KNOWN INDIVIDUALS than NEVER-HEARD-OF, WANNA BE-FAMOUS BLOGGERS =)

wow!! grabe!! all the infos that you guys had shared are all TRUE!!! isa ako sa mga taong nagbigay ng oras para pumunta sa “interview” na sinasabi nila.. and honestly, while watching their presentation, i had doubts about the company… the video presentation that they had shown me is about brainwashing of ones mind!! its all about earning MONEY in easiest way.. they will insist na pwede kang kumita ng 15k/mo. nang hindi ka nagoovertime sa work muh!! sisilawin ka nila sa malaking sahod pero the truth is, sila lang ang yayaman dahil sa pera na idodown muh..

there are always 2 sides to consider.
perhaps you may read this one too:
http://randypau.wordpress.com/2009/01/13/15th-floor-octagon-bldg/
i must agree that there is a flaw in invitation. maybe the message wasnt clear (too fast, noisy background, the prospect doesnt listenting carefully, etc)
at the end of the day, you have the power to say YES or NO!
..and if you say a straight YES or NO – that’s when you get the winner mindset.
..and if you say YES or NO – several days after you kept on ranting, complaining, etc. – you got a victim mindset.. and you always do that in any other area of your life.
i’ve been there. I said NO.. but you know what, the information is all true.. if you said NO to them, be sure to take action with your finances in any other way.
(it is ok to be poor or broke anyway, for as long as you dont complain in life)

Hi Alfred,
Thanks for the link, I agree with you. There is always two sides on this story. I have known friends who has joined and I have nothing against them. I simply want to stop members who do all sorts of deception they can just to gain new members under them.
Face it, not all members are willing to help their downlines, they simply want to milk them with cash so that they can earn commission. That is something that I want to prevent from happening to people who put their hard earned cash just to be duped by false promises.
Even in this topic alone, there are already two sides. Those who defend the program and those who have been victims by false promises.
Thanks.

Napakaeffective tlga.
HIndi lng nmn un ung inooffer nila’ may seminars and training din about sa leadership and business.

Hello Daryl, I don’t know what else to advice you because you already laid out a pretty good strategy here. I like your statement where one should not borrow money or force themselves to join if they don’t have the money. People should only join this if they have money they can lose and it is not really an investment where you are guaranteed returns, unless of course, you “work”.
If you want to learn more on the schedules on their training, I believe the best persons you can ask are the members themselves. You can pay them another visit and tell them honestly what your concerns are and why you want to join. I’m sure that there are others there who really want to help and are not just really after your membership fee.

Hi, thank you for this info. Now I can think ahead, you know I was really planning to have a go on this one. I thought this is a big & real thing because this guy Christopher Lagos keeps on pestering me.
Well, as you said there’s nothing wrong, it’s a legitimate company it’s just that you would be caught by surprise not knowing that you are entering into a no-monthly-salary, MLM kind of work.
Thanks!

i just receive a call from them last monday, inviting me for an interview thursday night at 12th flr belvedere ortigas. Upon talking with them, she doesn’t discuss mcuh about the company and also whenever i asked for the company name she always talk fast. I asked her if we can resked the meeting but she told me that shes very very and has an important meeting to attend to. ( shes trying to be authoritative). Wenesday night, i recieved a text from her reminding me about the interview. I didn’t reply. Thursday, 5pm i texted my friend to search info about the 12th flr of belvedere. And he drops to this company, so he texted me right away, i forced to online to read this site. I have read some story form others and it was slightly the same with me. meeting at 630pm, work at home can earn up to 15k. Thanks for this!!

Wag tayong maging tamad at palaasa. Kumilos tayo para sa pangrap natin.
lagi nga nilang sinasabi samin’ Kung may pangarap tayo sa buhay, kailangan nating magsikap’ lagi nting isaisip ung mga pangarap na un. Kc pag nangarap tayo eh ibg sabihin may gusto tayong marating.

its ashame how stupid sometimes people become to believe such opinions coming from blogs denying them the opportunity to become the successful person they could have been. What you chose to believe is what you chose to become. No wonder why some people end up playing safe. They don’t know that life is all about taking risk and the greatest risk about it is not getting out of it alive

may tumawag din sa’kin Friday night (6:30pm to be exact)… bago kami nag-usap nakapag-missed calls na siya ng 4x… just then she called – janeth magana (09086363650)… saying na this would be a part-time job (or even a full time job if i wanted to), owing to flexibility in schedules… di kami magkaintindihan – owing to the ‘noise in the background’ pero few things are I’m pretty sure:
1) no company name mentioned (which is i did forgot to ask)
2) no job description – except that i would be a part-time member of some sort
3) they got my # from their “database” – if they really have one
4) should i come/join, I’ll earn anywhere from P15k-P20k
5) like all the blogs i’d read – “let’s meet at 15th flr octagon bldg”
i admit i was convinced but then again… i need to do my homework – which is this – research about them… and found this blog along with many others… as of this writing, i gave word to meet her Wednesday, 3:00pm, but after reading all these blogs and statements, I’m thinking more than twice… i just hope this would be their last…

I just have to say na after getting close up to this company, I would have to agree on one thing: that MLM is an unethical way to earn money. This business was presented to me two years ago. Nung una pa lang, uncomfortable nako. Still, after two years, and after seeing na parang umangat naman sa buhay ung dalawang kaibigan ko who tried to recruit me, sabi ko, I’ll give it a chance. So, I went to all the trainings and the idea of a job vs. a business resonated strongly with me. Kung ako kasi tatanungin, I have never been satisfied at any job given the fact na someone else always holds the rein. After a week of calling people or so, however, I really began to give serious thoughts about how money is really earned here. The turning point was when I decided to take a look at the ingredients sa produkto. I know some of you have said na maganda talaga ang produkto nila. However, their shampoos, even the toothpaste and other facial products contain ingredients that are very harmful lalo na at ma-absorb siya sa bloodstream. One example na lang is sodium laurel sulfate. And so, if it’s the same as the ones in mainstream consumer products, why would I want to spread it pa din? What is the difference between a 1k NS shampoo and one that you can just pick up at a grocery, eh pareho lang naman nakakasama sa katawan? And what about the gels and other stuff? What do they really contain ba? Am I really willing to sell this stuff to people in the first place when I know na na I won’t personally use them, having seen the ingredients up close? Also, I did quite a lot of research on MLM the moment I had this churning sensation in my stomach again. And I was right. You CAN get rich via MLM. It is, however, an unethical way to do so. Here is the link which helped me: http://attitudeadjustment.tripod.com/Essays/MLM.htm. You can also read up on Jon Taylor’s essay. I’ve been thinking whether it’s just because may mga taong takot yumaman or who have been burned by MLM. Yet, even without these factors, just thinking about how you would actually sign someone up so you can earn better than them in the long run is unwise. Isa pa, I saw that in MLM, you will not be owning your business. It is nothing more than a sophisticated machine kung saan you will have to abide by someone else’s rules and do what someone else says you should in order to advance. You are still a part of a system. And I have no doubt that it does alienate you from family and friends who will become prospects and potential markets in your eyes. I know there are success stories about MLM. Still, how about those other people who have simply remained at the bottom? What would they have to do then? Bring in more and more people? Ask them to sell products as well to others when these same products contain the same stuff you would normally find in other consumer products? And on and on it goes. For me, parang biglang bumaba ang tingin ko dun sa mga kaibigan ko na naging success whereas before, ang taas. Kasi, I don’t think I could ever stomach earning thousands or millions if that is what I’d have to do.

Thanks for the warning! People should be aware of what they are getting into, it’s not easy to spend P12k that easily. I say it’s more or less similar to networking scams. People behind this should start to think of a more unscamming ways to earn. Kawawa naman ang nabibiktima! Thanks for sharing, great site!
